The Journey with Ron Moore

It is always God who gives us the strength we need to do what He has called us to do. He gave that strength to Daniel; He will give the same strength to you.

Jesus once told a story about a man whose ground produced a good crop. The man was already wealthy; his barns were full. But instead of generosity, he practiced greed. He tore down his barns and built bigger ones. He was focused on his own security.

Weigh your words. Hold your tongue. Think before you speak. That simple exercise is going to keep you from a lot of sin and regret.

Are you involved in a story of great grace? How about giving to someone who can offer nothing in return? How about serving a person in need?

Displaying evidence of living faith is not just for your peace of mind. It’s a sign to others that there’s a Savior in Heaven who leads us in triumph. Today Ron Moore shares a story that demonstrates that kind of faith before a watching world. Watch with them and you’ll… Continue Reading…

God was as sovereignly at work the day Moses’ mother tearfully and fearfully placed him in the Nile as He was when Pharaoh’s daughter drew Moses out of the water. Even when you don’t know how the story ends, God is still in charge!

Woven into the story of God’s sovereign work that saved and secured the nation of Israel, we see the overwhelming emotions of two brothers being reunited. God’s Word is simply amazing.

While there are things we don’t know about the wise men, here are the things we know for certain. These men made a great sacrifice to see Jesus. They traveled a great distance. They brought their best to him. They sought Jesus and didn’t stop until they found him. They worshiped him. That is the heart of the magi story. And…that should be the heart of our Christmas story as well.

Without any pomp or circumstance, a royal baby was born. In the chaos of the Roman Empire, the Prince of Peace entered the human race. All heaven looked on as God wrote his story of love in living letters. Jesus became, in Paul’s words, “the image of the invisible God.”

God has the same promise for you. He is working in your heart to do great things for Him. Every believer lives with the power of the Holy Spirit. You have everything you need to do what God has called you to do.
