The Journey with Ron Moore

It’s a place we’d rather not dwell on…a vast, burning lake of eternal punishment. But if scripture is true, it’s a place that cries out for our attention. On today’s broadcast, Ron Moore looks into that yawning horror and the great escape provided by a gracious God.

Husbands and wives, guard your relationship!

The god of deism is passive and impersonal. Thankfully, this is not the God of Scripture.

How are you doing with the Scripture that you know? Are you obeying it or choosing to ignore it?

Right now what you are going through makes no sense. Remember, wisdom does not mean that I know all the answers; it means I know the One who does . . . and I submit myself to Him.

They’re snapshots of your life that reveal your spiritual maturity… those decisions and plans made with God’s consultation and without.  What do those pictures represent about you and your spiritual condition? Ron Moore reveals that overall image from the pages of scripture and offers solutions for your decision-making errors.

The visit from the angel Gabriel was frightening and the news was unbelievable, but Mary surrendered to God’s will. When the angel’s words to her were confirmed by her visit to Elizabeth, who was with child in her old age, Mary burst into song. Her song is filled with Scripture and truth about God

In a song known as the Magnificat, Mary proclaimed her thankfulness and love to the Father. This song teaches several things about Mary.

But, remember, every movement leading to the cross was fulfilling Scripture. Jesus came to give His life as a ransom for us. Nothing took place outside of God’s sovereign plan.

When believers read Scripture today it is the same Holy Spirit who teaches us. He takes the written word and helps us understand it and apply it to our lives. Have you experienced a passage that you’ve read countless times but it jumps from the page on a particular day? That’s the work of the Spirit driving a needed truth home.
