The Journey with Ron Moore

If you ask the Father for a fish He won’t give you a snake, Jesus said.  But what if you asked, unknowing, for the snake?  Would you trust Him to deny your request? Ron Moore sheds light on bowing before the throne as we lift our hearts in prayer.

What things do you request from God to lead effectively the people He has placed in your life? That question deserves some reflection, doesn’t it?

When Jesus was taken into heaven, He promised to send the Holy Spirit. When we trust in Jesus, the Spirit makes His home in our hearts. Be assured the moment that we believe, we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit in full.

Thank Him for His past answers. Thank Him for all His future promises. And then from the depth of your being, make this declaration, “Sovereign Lord, you are God!” Don’t ask God to change His answer; ask Him to change your heart.
