The Journey with Ron Moore

Weigh your words. Hold your tongue. Think before you speak. That simple exercise is going to keep you from a lot of sin and regret.

When you feel like changing your name to convey your feelings about God, just remember that he never changes his. God’s name is always faithful. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

What banner do you hold high as you go into battle each day? If you hold the banner of self-sufficiency, independence or personal ambition, you will lose the battle every time. But if you hold high the name of the Lord, marching under his standard, he will give you the strength to defeat each foe.

Who are you?  In a broken and desperate world, where do you fit?  What purpose do you serve? Today Ron Moore shares three principles that will give you purpose, direction, and meaning.  Learn them well and they’ll change your life for good.

All of us can relate to Peter, can’t we? We have remained silent as others use Jesus’ name as slang. We have remained silent as His claims have been laughed at. We have even joined in the laughter as His person is satirized. We have ignored His Word by open rebellion. We have followed Peter in our own denials, but have we joined him in remorse and repentance?

Jesus is the believer’s source of life. Say His name. Sing His praise. Tell Him how much you love Him. Tell Him how thankful you are for His work on the cross. Tell Him your struggles and ask for His strength. Tell Him your fears and ask for His peace. You are connected to the Source. Live each day in His eternal power.

Luke 19:1-5 Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. So he ran ahead… Continue Reading…

Matthew 5:43-45 You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and… Continue Reading…

Psalm 124 A song of ascents. If the LORD had not been on our side—let Israel say—if the LORD had not been on our side when people attacked us, they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us; the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would… Continue Reading…
