The Journey with Ron Moore

If you sow the winds of sin, you will reap the whirlwind of consequences.

Thank God for His gracious welcome back when we humbly return from the land of forgetfulness.

Regardless of how far we have gone, how long we have been gone or how much damage we’ve done, the loving Father waits with open arms to welcome his child (prodigal though he or she may be) back home.

Do you feel like your life has been shaken? Let me introduce you to the Rock. He is the loving God who desires an eternal relationship with you. He is the gracious God who longs to show you favor. He is the caring God who wants to protect you.

Aaron’s “Priestly Blessing” is a great prayer to pray for our children. I introduced this prayer yesterday and considered the first three requests. Here are the final four.

Don’t run from him; run to him! God promises that if we confess our sins, he “is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). It’s time to come out of the darkness into the wonderful light of God’s grace.

God the Father: The All-Powerful Creator. God the Son: The Agent of Creation, Re-Creation and Resurrection. God the Spirit: The Protector and Nurturer. How can we respond to such a powerful, gracious and loving God? Only one way – bow down and worship him. Why don’t you do that right now? Start the new year on your knees before the Triune God.

Do you take time to pause and think about God’s favor in your life?  When you do, you’ll discover a life-changing journey into the gracious heart of your creator. Ron Moore offers a road map that will help you take the initial step.

Mark 14:17-21 When evening came, Jesus arrived with the Twelve. While they were reclining at the table eating, he said, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me—one who is eating with me.” They were saddened, and one by one they said to him, “Surely you don’t mean… Continue Reading…

Luke 13:6-9 Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any. So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming… Continue Reading…
