The Journey with Ron Moore

Be careful with whom you consult, and weigh carefully what they say. A leader’s decisions impact lives.

Counterfeits are often hard to distinguish from the real thing.  And some will cost you more than others.  So it is with wisdom. The difference between the earthly counterfeit and wisdom from above is a price calculated, not in currency, but in everlasting days. In this half-hour, Ron Moore will… Continue Reading…

How many times do I make decisions without spending time in prayer? How many times do I decide to do or not do something by simply “sampling the provisions” (spreadsheets, test-drives, investment returns, outward appearances, etc.). Decisions require prayer.

It is the Spirit who directs us when we are confronted with these types of decisions. He is our Counselor who opens our eyes to see the right path to take. Psalm 119:11-16 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Praise be to you, LORD; teach me your decrees. With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth. I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great… Continue Reading…

Psalm 16:7-11   I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will… Continue Reading…
