The Journey with Ron Moore

Riding high on the spiritual fence is a dangerous exercise. There’s a false sense of security up there when a fatal tumble is a more likely outcome. In this half-hour, Ron Moore issues a challenge to the fence rider, and that challenge comes straight from the mouth of Jesus.

Success can lock you into pride and pride always sits on the top of a very slippery slope.

Ask God to check your heart. Examine your sexual temptations that lead to the sins of lust, pornography, and adultery. Examine your materialistic tendencies that lead to the sins of greed and avarice. Examine your areas of personal pride that always go before a fall. Each part of the temptation is dangerous enough.

During the journey of life, each of us spends time on the emotional edge. We cannot escape fatigue, disappointment, and stress. These are dangerous stretches. Reactions (and overreactions) can cause much collateral damage. But our trust in God, even in the heat of pressure cooker situations, makes all the difference.

Hospitality has gotten a first-world makeover.  In fact it’s almost unrecognizable from the original design.  Instead of a Martha Stewart party for respectable friends, scriptural hospitality sets the table for the unwashed outcast and the vulnerable stranger. With that in mind, Ron Moore is here to share the dangerous, costly… Continue Reading…

What an amazing scenario! The people chose to have a dangerous man back on the streets rather than have Jesus live. The innocent would die. The guilty went free. The same applies today. The spotless Lamb of God bore our sin in His body on the cross. He died in our place so we could be free forever.

Parenting is not for sissies! Raising children is hard work. Parents who desire to be popular with their children and their children’s friends will live to regret the compromises it takes to make that happen. But parents who love their children enough to lead them will have to make some… Continue Reading…

Matthew 7:15-20 Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Remove the bridle from a spirited horse and you’ll be in for a dangerous ride. So it is with the impulsive person. Without character to steer him or her, only tragedy awaits along the path of real life. Today, Ron Moore takes us down that path to witness the results… Continue Reading…

God In Real Life

From the humble plea of a barren woman’s heart to the very heart of God, from the plains of battle to the court of a troubled king, Ron Moore paints a scriptural picture of the Lord of majesty and mercy…the God who is, and who is working in your life.

You’ll see in its pages the three primary attributes of God that color every event we experience.  And in the seeing you’ll discover His transforming features in places where you least expect them. The broken, the sinful and the victorious places.

“God in Real Life” is yours for a gift of any amount.
